    MEANING OF STREET NAMES: Many streets or squares in Regensburg are self-explanatory, such as the Kohlenmarkt, the Fischmarkt and the Alter Kornmarkt. Some names reveal the professions that were located here at the time, such as Lederergasse or Weißgerbergraben.
