EAVESDROPPING: PODCASTS FROM REGENSBURG!

Podcasts have become an integral part of the media landscape, new ones are added every week and it feels like there is a podcast on every topic. We check out the usual providers from time to time and browse for podcasts from Regensburg. Last weekend it was time again, we listened to three very different podcasts from Regensburg, which we would like to introduce to you here.

Three podcasts made in Regensburg:

Brain belongs

Prof. Dr. Volker Busch is a neuroscientist, psychiatrist, psychotherapist and keynote speaker. As head of a working group at the University of Regensburg, he and his team research various neuroscientific and psychophysiological topics. His new and highly readable book “Kopf frei!” is currently on the Spiegel bestseller list.
In his podcast “Gehirn gehört”, Prof. Dr. Volker Busch shares insights from the fields of mind and brain with us in a humorous and exciting way. Neuroscience and psychology you can touch and listen to.

Experience Regensburg

“Our home – Our city – Our Regensburg” is the short description of this podcast. Marc, Franzi and Alex talk about how they experience Regensburg. We find this exciting, because our online magazine RegensburgNow was created in exactly the same way, only in written form.
Marc, Franzi and Alex get different people from Regensburg in front of the microphone and talk to them. The three of them don’t want to talk about but to show other facets of Regensburg. We liked it.

For a beer before 4

It is always claimed that Regensburg is the city with the highest density of pubs in Germany. Whether this is true or not, there is no denying that Regensburg has a large number of pubs and bars. This is precisely the topic of “Auf ein Bier vor 4”. In their podcast, radio presenters Meike Föckersperger and Carla Hirsch take us on a virtual journey through Regensburg’s bar scene. Exciting stories with bar owners and entertaining pub stories included.
