From snack bars to Michelin-starred restaurants, you can find everything in Regensburg – no matter how hungry you are during your lunch break. The stately former granary “Leerer Beutel” is home to the restaurant of the same name, which promises “pleasure for the eyes, ears and palate”. From Monday to Friday, a lunch menu with a main course and starter or dessert is currently available for €11.80. Orphée

The Orphée, which claims to be the most original French bistro east of the Rhine, has been serving Mediterranean cuisine since 1977. Chef Irmin Leghissa creates a fine lunch menu every week, with a choice of three starters and three main courses, served from Monday to Friday between 11.30 am and 2.30 pm. The main courses always include a meat dish, a fish dish and a vegetarian dish. The lunch menu includes either a small 0.2 l beer or ¼ l water & 1 glass of house wine plus espresso, espresso macchiato, cappuccino or coffee. The whole thing for €26.50. There is also an optional dessert for €3.80.

Kreutzers

Kreutzers is located between the Marina Quartier and the harbor in a listed warehouse with a charcoal grill in the middle of the restaurant. From Monday to Friday, you can enjoy a 3-course business menu including espresso for €32 or with a drink for €35 including 1/8 wine or soft drink or 0.3 l Augustiner Pils and espresso. The menu changes every day.

Ontra

Ontra has high standards: chef Peter Grasmeier and his partner Christina Listl want their restaurant to be one of the best in Regensburg, serving their guests excellent food and wine in a sophisticated atmosphere and giving them a break from everyday life. Ontra at Techbase offers a changing business lunch menu with three courses including espresso for €34 from Tuesday to Friday from 11.30 am to 2.00 pm. Ontra

Storstad

In the Michelin-starred restaurant Storstad (Swedish for big city) [stuːr·staːd]) cooks Anton Schmaus, who has been awarded a star since 2010. The thoroughbred restaurateur also owns the starred Aska, the Sticky Fingers and the Tipsy wine bar in Regensburg. The globetrotter from Viechtach is always trying out new things and pushing the boundaries. Crazy and down-to-earth at the same time. He is actively supported by his Swedish wife Anna.
The Storstad restaurant offers a lunch menu with three courses for €70 or four courses for €85 from Wednesday to Saturday between 12:00 and 16:00. View of the cathedral included.

Red Rooster

Maximilian Schmidt is the youngest star chef in Regensburg and very ambitious. In 2020, he took over the Roter Hahn from his father and quickly established fresh, modern cuisine at star level. The Roter Hahn serves lunch on Fridays and Saturdays from 12:00 to 14:00: as a 3-course menu for €70, or 4-courses for €85. Roter Hahn
