BREAKFAST

Museum café in the museum on Dachauplatz with an enchanting garden. A wonderful place to sit between the cloisters of the Gothic Minorite church!
Café Rinaldi is a fine little Italian restaurant near the Alter Kornmarkt. I particularly like going here on Saturdays after the weekly market at Alter Kornmarkt.
Freiraum is a somewhat hidden little café with a cute courtyard at Simadergasse 1.

LUNCH

Paletti Italian-style bar in the Pustetpassage with delicious lunch dishes that change daily.
Orphée – a piece of Paris in Regensburg. Fine lunch menu. My favorite restaurant (even if I didn’t work there). Untere Bachgasse 8 and the hotel is also worth a visit.
Storstad (upscale) above the rooftops of Regensburg not only offers one of the most beautiful views of the city center, but also a Michelin-starred lunch menu.
Degginger. Wer es lieber etwas bodenständiger mag, geht ins Degginger in der Wahlenstraße 17. Das Degginger ist ein Projekt für die Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft in Regensburg. Dort kann man gemütlich einen Café trinken, essen und sich von cooler Kunst überraschen lassen.

Sticky Fingers hip offshoot of Storstad with lots of cocktails. Stylish. Untere Bachgasse 9
Paletti next to breakfast and lunch, in the evening a nice drinking place with good wines and cocktails. Pustet Passage
Kosmonautenbar with changing music program & cool drinks. Goldene Bären Strasse 10
Couch If you want to drink a beer on the sofa in a cozy Berlin atmosphere, this relaxed place is the right place for you. Fröhliche-Türkenstr. 9
Mono is not a chic Micki, but a nice bar with nice people at Rote Hahnengasse 2.

…. and opposite the Dreieinigkeitskirche church is the café-bar. A very small, beautifully tiled café with an Art Nouveau glass ceiling. Gesantenstrasse 14
