CINEMA UNDER THE STARS!
From July 11, 2024, it will be paradise on the Danube again: Cinema Paradiso at Grieser Steg will open its doors. You can then enjoy the open-air cinema for seven weeks. A dream come true!
Cinema Paradiso offers a varied program until 25 August 2024: here you can watch current films, classics and comedies in the open air.
But not only that, you can also visit the enchanting open-air cinema on the Danube without a movie: Catering with food and drink is available from 6 p.m. in good weather. In the midst of greenery, you can enjoy a leisurely meal or a glass of wine in the evening sun. The Kurt family prepares Turkish specialties daily, which can be enjoyed directly on the banks of the Danube at tables or on comfortable cushions, and at the Paradiso bar, which looks like a small circus tent, snacks, refreshments and good wine are available.
The films (with headphones) start when it starts to get dark. The tickets all cost €10 (in advance plus 10% fee), the cinema seats around 200 people. You can buy 50% of the tickets at the box office from 7.30 pm, 50% can be purchased in advance at cinemaparadiso-regensburg.de. There is a “Stattfindometer” on the website, where you can check how likely it is that the cinema will or will not take place if the weather is uncertain.
We are already looking forward to seven and a half weeks of Cinema Paradiso!
