The English star architect Sir Norman Foster described Regensburg as “One of the most beautiful cities in the world”. We wholeheartedly agree. Regensburg is beautiful, whether in spring, summer, fall or winter. But Regensburg is at its most beautiful at Christmas time! Everywhere in the old town glitters and lights up, the streets are decorated for Christmas and you can’t decide which of the alleyways is the most beautifully decorated.
