Café Freiraum has a cozy little courtyard somewhat hidden away in Simadergasse 1. The breakfast selection caters to all tastes and there are also delicious pancakes. A total of eleven different breakfasts are available daily from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.

Offsid3

If you want a more unusual breakfast, the beautiful garden at Offsid3 is the place to be. From delicious egg dishes such as Egg Benedict to crunchy French toast and vegan hummus sandwiches, you’ll find everything your heart desires here.

MuseumCafé

If you take a few steps through the foyer of the museum on Dachauplatz, you are in another world: the MuseumCafé with its garden in the inner courtyard of the former Minorite monastery. There are comfortable chairs and tables under umbrellas on the lawn of the Gothic cloister, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. you are spoiled for choice between 14 different breakfasts from mini to large, from white sausages to vegan, bowls and pancakes. And all with a view of the pointed arches and the nave of the Minorite Church. Enchanting.

Rough Surface

The former café at Peterstor, with a view of the castle park, opens (except Tuesday) from 9.00 am and offers delicious breakfast variations such as “scrambled eggs with fresh truffle on toasted brioche, fried mushrooms, onion chutney, potato foam and parmesan” or “sourdough bread with avocado, fried pak choi, radish kimchi, plum, quinoa crackers and furikak (vegan)”. Our mouths are watering… Kitchen until 2.30 pm.

Weichmanns

In the former art courtyard of the Weichmann metal sculptor dynasty, you don’t even feel like you’re in the middle of the old town, it’s so beautiful and cozy in the garden. Here, everyone can put together their own breakfast from 10.00 to 14.00.

Orphée

A piece of France in Regensburg. Here you can choose whether to have breakfast in front on Untere Bachgasse and watch people stroll by or in the tranquil vine-covered courtyard. There are nine different breakfasts, from classic French with croissant, butter and jam to Italian, Israeli (shakshouka!) and De Luxe. Daily from 8.00 am, breakfast until 3.00 pm.

Café anton is located in the former presidential palace on Bismarckplatz, now the Haus der Musik. Here you can have breakfast daily from 9.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and watch the hustle and bustle on Bismarckplatz and choose from nine breakfasts, from the small to the large anton or “string quartet” (large organic yoghurt with organic muesli and fresh fruit, jam, butter, cream cheese, tomato spread and cream cheese, plus baguette).
