Thurn und Taxis Palace and St. Emmeram’s Cloister (only with guided tour), Emmeramsplatz 5 Glory and splendor in one of the largest private palaces in Europe. The cloister of the former monastery of St. Emmeram is impressive!
Document Neupfarrplatz (guided tour only). The Jewish quarter was located here in the Middle Ages. A small part of it can be visited underground.
Keplerhaus. Das kleine Museum im ehemaligen Wohnhaus von Johannes Kepler gibt eine guten Überblick über Leben und Werk des berühmten Astronomen. Keplerstrasse 5, nur am Wochenende geöffnet.

BEAUTIFUL CHURCHES

Romanesque: Schottenkirche, impressive portal. Jakobstrasse 3
Gothic: St. Peter’s Cathedral – of course. Apart from Saturdays, you can listen to the huge organ every day at 12.00 noon, and on Sundays and public holidays at the 10.00 a.m. service. Cathedral square
Early Baroque: Trinity Church – beautiful! Tower ascent possible. On the Mount of Olives 1
Baroque: St. Emmeran – built in the 8th century and baroqueized in the 18th century by the Asam brothers. Emmeramsplatz 3: The beautiful cloister can be visited as part of a guided tour of the palace.
Rococo: Old chapel – magnificent. Old corn market 8
