DREAM FACTORY EXPERIENCE DAYS IN REGENSBURG.

2 days, 56 workshops: from April 06 to 07, 2024 (competition)

Did you know that the largest workshop festival in Germany takes place in Regensburg? The Dream Factory Experience Days are now a permanent institution in Regensburg. One week after Easter, there is always a weekend full of numerous courses, world-class speakers and an extensive supporting program in the RT-Halle and other locations in Regensburg.
I did a juggling course there a few years ago and was totally thrilled! Although the Traumfabrik-Erlebnistag is an annual meeting place for many creative, active and curious people, some Regensburgers don’t even know about the Traumfabrik-Erlebnistage. Yet this festival is internationally renowned: Participants come to Regensburg from all over Germany, Austria and Switzerland to attend various courses.
You can attend 56 different courses, with one course lasting two days. The courses last a total of six hours and take place in two time blocks. Three hours on Saturday and three hours on Sunday – either in the morning from 10.00-13.00 or in the afternoon from 15.00-18.00. Thanks to the different time slots, it is even possible to attend two courses in one weekend, leaving plenty of time to enjoy the workshops and take a relaxing lunch break in between at the central meeting point, the market square in the RT hall.

How about, for example, the clowning workshop in the morning, strolling and snacking in the RT hall at lunchtime and a ukulele course in the afternoon? Or juggling with the world champion? There are 56 courses in five different areas – dance, theater, music, artistry, creativity and health.
There is something for every taste and activity requirement.
The daily schedule at the Dream Factory Experience Days could look something like this. There is something to experience and enjoy around the festival hall from morning to night. All this is included in the course price. A special warm-up event is planned for all those who would like to arrive on Friday. With live music from “Lost in A Bar”, a cool juggling session and delicious food.

800 participants stroll through the festival hall at the weekend, enjoy the food, drink cappuccino, stroll past market stalls, practise dance steps or juggle. There’s something going on all day long: For example, you can get a new look at the hairdresser’s stand. There are various hands-on activities such as card games or yodanco and creative stands for games, sports, arts and crafts and decorations. On Saturday evening there is a stage show from 8.00 pm and a party with DJ à la Mixtape from the last decades from 9.30 pm.
A great program, a weekend directly on the Danube Island surrounded by greenery with a view of the old town of Regensburg.

The dream factory:

The Dream Factory has been known for 44 years for its “show theater of the imagination”, with which it goes on tour every year. Half a million guests have already visited the Dream Factory.
Everything you see on stage at the Dream Factory can be learned at the Experience Days. And even more: speakers from all over the world come to Regensburg to hold the workshops. “The Dream Factory Experience Days are our emotional highlight of the year. It’s simply wonderful to see how we spark so much creativity and activity in people every year. Many people surpass themselves and try out things they wouldn’t have dared to do before,” says Rainer Pawelke, founder of the Dream Factory. Here is an excerpt from the course list:
Clownery, pantomime, sketchnotes, magic, ukulele, handpan, AfroCuban dance, somatic training, aerial silk, hula hoop dance, juggling, sword fencing, taiji, improv theater, body language and much more.
